Day 1: Cusco – Mollepata – Humantay LagoonStart your tour with pickup from your hotel in Cusco early in the morning. Have breakfast and drive to Challacancha, the starting point of your hike. After a 3-hour hike, arrive at a campsite in Soraypampa. Enjoy lunch and hike 1.5 hours to Humantay Lagoon. Head back to the campsite in Soraypampa. Arrive at approximately 6 PM, have tea and dinner, and spend the night in glass huts.Day 2: Soraypampa – Paso Salkantay – ColpapampaHave breakfast at 5 AM and start your 3-hour trek from Soraypampa to the highest point of Abra Salkantay for views of the snow-capped High Andes Mountains of Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay, and Pumasillo. Passing through Salkantaypampa and Soyrococha, start the descent to Huarachmachhay. Enjoy lunch and then continue to the Colpapampa campsite.
